Brain uses 12 watts to think compared to 2.7 billion watts for an AI system
With only 12 watts of power, the human brain efficiently operates 100 billion neurons, a feat that surpasses the energy efficiency of a lightbulb. In contrast, simulating brain function proves to be an energetically costly endeavor. The Blue Brain Project, for example, demanded 2.7 billion watts to operate, an amount comparable to the energy output of a nuclear power plant, yet it still functioned at a slower rate. Furthermore, the energy requirements for training AI models like GPT-3 are substantial, totaling 1.3 GWh, while each ChatGPT response requires 0.34 Wh. These comparisons highlight the remarkable efficiency of natural systems.
Provide five achievements you experienced with your family! “5” is a magic number in the brain.
You can easily hold five words and an image for each word in your short-term memory – AND you will have enough to sort and re-sort these notions in 13 milliseconds for the images. 1 – (STM) Short-Term Memory: STM refers to the ability to hold a small amount of information in an accessible, active state for a brief period. It serves as a “mental workspace” for tasks like reasoning, problem-solving, and comprehension. 2 – Chucking: Capacity varies based on “chunking”—grouping items into meaningful units (e.g., remembering “FBI” as one unit instead of three letters)—which can effectively expand the limit. 3 – Visualization: Visual and semantic encoding (simultaneously in 13 milliseconds can occur but are less dominant unless deliberately emphasized (e.g., picturing an object). 4 – Working Memory: STM is often considered a subset of working memory (WM), a broader concept introduced by Baddeley and Hitch in 1974. WM includes STM plus mechanisms for manipulating information (e.g., mentally rearranging a list) 5 – System 2 Thinking: System 2 is slow, deliberate, and analytical. It requires conscious effort and is activated when we encounter complex or unfamiliar situations. This system: * Engages in complex problem-solving and logical reasoning * Allocates attention to effortful mental activities * Performs tasks like complex calculations, comparing products, and analyzing statistics2 * Can question and override System 1’s intuitions when necessary. (System 1 Thinking 1 is fast, automatic, and intuitive. It operates as fast as 3 milliseconds with little or no effort and no sense of voluntary control). Here are the five key words for this discussion: 1 -(STM) Short-Term Memory 2 – Chucking 3 – Visualization 4 – Working Memory: 5 – System 2 Thinking Love Family First PlannedFamilyhood.com/Family-Keyword-Mastery/
Understanding Familyhood: The Science of Love and Connection Understanding Familyhood: The Science of Love and Connection Join this family of Planned Familyhood to create & to build up loving your family with other loving families to make our country strong and healthy.
What is the meaning of familyhood? The state of being a family. The close relationships that exist between family members.
Neuroplasticity Discoveries Essentials In this section we will highlight neuroplascity effects and in the next section we will begin with familyhood essentials. Brain research was revolutionized by the discovery of plasticity, the science of which is simple: (1) Brain Ignition: When you exercise your brain, you release natural growth factors and influence neurotransmitters, which ignite and/or enhance your brain’s level of performance (recall speed). (2) Communication Effect: The efficiency of cell-to-cell communication via chemical messengers increases (recall speed). (3) New Remapping: There is a remapping of the functional connections among neurons, as new things are learned, new maps are created, or old maps altered (recall pathways). (4) Circuit Redundance: Alternative circuits can be established to compensate for lost or injured areas (recall pathways)
Once thought fixed, the brain’s “plasticity” revealed its remarkable ability to adapt, rewriting the rules of neuroscience. Brain research took a U-turn with the discovery of plasticity. No longer static, the mind could mold and reshape itself, offering hope for healing and growth. “Plasticity” shattered the rigid view of the brain. Now, experience sculpts our minds, opening doors for learning, growth and recovery (REST_ORATION) #PlannedFamilyhood
“I’ve been reading about the growth mindset. It’s really powerful.” “Oh yeah? What’s so great about it?”
“Well, it’s the belief that your abilities can be developed, not fixed.” “So, you’re not just stuck with what you’ve got?” “Exactly! Challenges become opportunities to grow, not threats.” “That sounds less stressful.” “It is! You see effort as the path to mastery, not a sign of weakness.” “And what about when you fail?” “Setbacks are just learning experiences. You bounce back stronger.” “So, you’re more resilient?” “Much more. You’re not afraid to try new things.” “Because you know you can improve?” “Precisely. It leads to greater motivation and achievement.”
“I can see how that would be beneficial.” “It really is. It’s about embracing the journey of learning.” “I’m going to look into this more!” “You should! It can change your whole perspective.”
For now, starting Apr 7, the best thing for everyone is to watch and not act for this week since there is no significant data anywhere that can forecast anything for this week.
In about 5 weeks from now there will be data available in the AI data infrastructures that will be able to forecast somewhat for about 5 weeks into the future.
At 5 months, there will be much more data that can forecast into the future somewhat for about 18 months into the future.
At 18 months, there will be much more data that can forecast into the future with a higher level of certainty for about 18 months into the future.
Again, this week you should concentrate on achievements that can directly change your personal affairs. The most profitable change would be to eliminate a bad personal habit while concentrating on your replace behavior thereby reducing future error while achieving small but real achievements. Over a ten-year period, the elimination of bad habits can make your new achievements more, and more valuable, making your overall lifestyle richer.

In this video, Competitive Triathlete David Fernandez has been struggling with knee pain and it’s kept him from training & competing in Triathlons. Dr. Romanov gives him a brief introduction to the Pose Method Concept and preview’s how it can help eliminate this injury and allow him to return to running.
The POSE running method, developed by Dr. Nicholas Romanov, emphasizes a technique that enhances running efficiency and reduces the risk of injury. Here are 5 essential aspects:
1. The Running Pose (S-Stance)
The foundation of POSE running is the Running Pose, where, specifically, the body forms a stable S-like shape. In this stance, the shoulders, hips, and ankles align vertically with the support leg. Moreover, the weight is placed on the ball of the foot. Consequently, this alignment is crucial for maintaining balance and maximizing energy efficiency during running.
2. Utilizing Gravity (Falling)
POSE running encourages runners to use gravity to propel themselves forward.Initially, by leaning slightly forward from the ankles, runners can create a “falling” motion. As a result, this allows gravity to assist in forward movement, reducing the effort needed to run and, furthermore, helping to maintain momentum.
3. Pull Technique
Once in motion, runners should focus on the pull technique. Specifically, instead of pushing off with their feet, they should pull their lead heel toward their glutes as they transition between strides. Consequently, this action promotes a quicker change of support. Moreover, it helps maintain a fluid running motion without excessive ground contact time
4. Forefoot Landing
The POSE method emphasizes landing on the forefoot rather than the heel. It utilizes the natural elasticity of muscles and tendons to absorb shock and propel the body forward. A more efficient method which reduces impact injuries and improves overall performance.
5. Continuous Motion
A key principle of POSE running is maintaining continuous motion throughout the running cycle. Runners are encouraged to keep their knees slightly bent upon landing and to avoid overstriding. This approach not only enhances speed but also minimizes braking forces that can lead to injuries34.By incorporating these principles into training, runners can improve their technique, enhance performance, and reduce injury risks associated with improper running mechanics. To begin with, a key principle of POSE running is maintaining continuous motion throughout the running cycle.
Furthermore, runners should keep their knees a little bent when they land and avoid taking long steps.
This way, they can run faster and reduce the impact that can cause injuries.
By using these tips in their training, runners can get better at their technique.
Additionally, this method can boost performance and lower the chances of getting hurt from bad running habits.
In conclusion, following POSE running principles can greatly improve running efficiency and safety.
Oscillation Exercises – I don’t have a video, so I am going to promote this video since it is the closest method of helping people over 35 re-invigorate your body movements that improves your stamina and lessen dementia.
The main point for people like my wife and I – now in our 80s – is a dramatic enhancement of more youthful body movements. Oscillation exercises not only make your body movements faster and stronger but also improve your stamina. How? By strengthening your ligaments. How? Large muscle movements mostly strengthen your tendons and large muscles with little or no help for ligaments. These oscillator movements do their best at strengthening ligaments which translate into improving your overall stamina – your enduring ability. And there is more – doing these fast, quick oscillator movements dramatically improves your brain network body motion processes. Which further improves your whole brain including your executive functions. Said another way, it reduces the onset of dementia issues while growing and strengthening your neural network process across the whole brain.

Informally write up 5 brief aspects of about – Bonds – WHAT DOES THE WORD “Bonds” MEAN TO A FAMILY? Focus and prime your brain each morning for the week 5 weeks. Only make changes after the first week if you get the urge. Notice that in week-5 your daily casual dialog mimics these aspects and/or their underlying values and principles. Also, notice your focus to be more open to different perspectives, and to seek common ground with others.
PRIMING CONCEPT: Education has roots in psychology’s exploration of unconscious influences.
Early work by educational neuroscientists like David Sousa (1980s) laid the groundwork. Sousa suggested that exposing students to related concepts before new information could activate existing knowledge networks, making learning more efficient. Following Sousa, researchers like Frank Wills (1990s) emphasized the role of priming in building associations. By strategically introducing related information, educators could help students connect seemingly disparate ideas, leading to a deeper understanding. The idea gained further traction with studies by Walt Klemm (2000s). Klemm explored how priming activities acted as scaffolding, providing a supportive structure for students to build new knowledge on top of existing understanding. This allowed for a more gradual progression and mastery of complex concepts. Eric Jensen (2000s) further solidified the concept by highlighting the impact of priming.
Today, educational neuroscience recognizes priming as a valuable tool. Educators leverage various priming methods, from visuals to vocabulary prompts, to activate prior knowledge, encourage retrieval practice, and ultimately enhance learning outcomes.
The specific methods used by Sousa, Wills, Klemm, and Jensen might have additional nuances or unique applications. Learn to prime your own life experiences while engaging your family daily.

Resilience within a spiritual family is like a sturdy tree weathering a storm. Rooted in their faith (the Creator), their love for each other provides strength and flexibility. Together, they bend with the challenges of life, their bond remaining unbroken.
Within a family, “patience” transcends mere tolerance, blossoming into a garden cultivated with love, understanding, and a shared commitment to growth. Like the Holy Trinity’s unwavering presence, family patience offers a safe space for individuals to learn, evolve, and make mistakes.
But patience isn’t passive waiting. It’s an active process fueled by empathy, open communication, and the willingness to celebrate small victories along the way. It requires acknowledging not only individuals’ differences but most importantly that they are unique individuals, respecting varying growth rates, and nurturing each member’s unique potential with unwavering love and support.
Family patience is a blooming garden, where understanding blossoms with time, forgiveness mends hurt, and love provides the fertile ground for each member to flourish at their own pace.
Within a family, “respect” transcends mere obligation, blossoming into a garden of acceptance, appreciation, and valuing individual differences. Like the Holy Trinity’s harmonious unity, each member contributes unique strengths, deserving respect irrespective of age or role. Drawing inspiration from the Holy Family of Christ, where Mary and Joseph respected even the most challenging circumstances, family respect manifests in everyday interactions. It’s the attentive listening that acknowledges each member’s voice, the open-mindedness that embraces diverse perspectives, and the acceptance that celebrates individual quirks and talents.
This respect isn’t passive or static. It thrives on open communication, empathy, and the willingness to learn from each other. It requires actively seeking to understand each other’s experiences, acknowledging individual growth, and celebrating achievements big and small.
Family respect is a vibrant garden, cultivated with love, understanding, and appreciation. It’s a safe space where individuality flourishes, differences are woven into a tapestry of strength, and each member feels valued and cherished, fostering a bond that blossoms far beyond mere duty.
Family values are the invisible compass guiding their journey. Like threads woven into a tapestry, they represent shared beliefs, morals, and principles that bind the family together. These values, whether religious, cultural, or personal, provide a sense of purpose, guiding individual decisions and shaping collective aspirations.
They nurture respect, understanding, and a shared vision for the future, ensuring that even when paths diverge, the family’s core remains strong, offering unwavering support and a safe haven.
Family values are the silent melody that harmonizes individual journeys into a beautiful testament to shared love and belonging..
